Metro Atlanta Adoptions

A number of organizations are able to conduct adoptions at locations other than the Animal Shelter.  Some take place on a regularly recurring, scheduled basis, others are set up as resources dictate.  In all cases, dogs are brought to the remote location and may be adopted and taken home from there.  If you're interested, we suggest that you call the Contact number we've listed, since circumstances can sometimes cause an alteration in plans on very little notice.

Rules are the same as for dogs adopted directly from the Shelter where they have been held, and are normally based on the State law mandates for dogs adopted from a public shelter, but you should ask if there are any special rules pertaining to this organization before you get your heart set on a particular dog.   You should also be clear on the cost of the dog - it varies considerably based on a number of factors applying to each dog.  It'll be a bargain, though, no matter what the dollar amount is.
