- CYBERPETS - You say you like a
slick, fun-to-visit Web site? Here you are - and theres a lot of information

- Dog Gone Locate - a New York -based lost dog service with a page for lost and
found pets, and their owners.

Amy Hendrix's excellent listing of the considerations you should make in selecting thet
new dog. This comprehensive article is strongly recommended for all first-time
dog owners. For that matter, any prospective new owner would benefit from reading it. We
can't recommend it too highly.
- Pet Orphans Rescue and Adoption - A new (February '99) adoption service with a website complete
with pictures, a voice information hotline at (770)
443-3530 and a lot of dogs deserving of
your attention. Fees vary with the dog, depending on a number of factors such as
veterinary charges and maintenance costs.
- NETVET - The Home Page of the
American Veterinary Medical Association. Lots of info for owners of all species of pets.
- Pets Are Loving Support
(PALS) - Pets Are Loving Support is a
non-profit agency organized in Sonoma, California to improve the quality of life of people
with AIDS . There's a similar organization in Metro Atlanta, but so far we don't have a
URL for them.
