The TURBAN software uses as inputs the mean flow field properties (generated by conventional CFD techniques) to predict the intensities, scales and spectra for turbulent fluctuations of velocity, temperature, pressure, density, and concentration.

The FLUBAR software uses the same types of inputs as TURBAN and predicts the fluctuations of effective band width and radiant intensity due to turbulence.

In a similar manner the RHOCOR software generates the three-dimensional correlation function for nonisotropic density fluctuations.
