Peter Telep. He has written novelizations of
the popular PC game
Descent and the movies Wing
Commander and soon
Red Planet starring
Val Kilmer.
Peter Telep currently teaches composition
and creative writing at the now infamous University of Central Florida. He has
written screenplays for In The Heat of the Night and Legends of Prince Valiant and two
novels for the late SPACE: ABOVE AND BEYOND series.
He also wrote
an excellent novelization from the screenplay for the movie Wing
Commander. (Read the book -- it is much better than the movie.) The sequel to
the novelization WING COMMANDER is called PILGRIM STARS. Sadly, the
publisher decided *never* to release the third and final sequel of this series.
It now resides only in Peter's hard drive awaiting some sort of revival.

His newest series is Night
Angel 9. For accuracy in his books Peter actually rode with Seminole
County paramedics for background and technical information. A reader in
Michigan who is a paramedic said Peter's book is the best he's ever seen for
accuracy in storytelling.
Currently, he is working
on several scripts for television shows and may be writing the novelization for
the sequel to The Matrix!!
