Sooz Myrdal creates highly detailed original dolls. They have porcelain heads, torsos, hands and feet; glass eyes, and mohair wigs. Fine fabrics are used in constructing the clothes. Flexible internal armatures allow the dolls to be positioned in lifelike poses. Accessories (such as Lisa's Cottonwood-leaf balalaika and Quanah's wise butterfly) are beautifully finished. |

The dolls displayed here are developmental models for two series of limited edition dolls Sooz is creating. Their moulds have been retired and so they are essentially ones-of-a-kind.
