McMakin, Andrew J. - 1st Lieutenant Oct. 6, 1861. Elected Captain July 17, 1862. Resigned Aug. 18, 1862.

Phillips, Andrew J. - 2d Lieutenant Oct. 6, 1861. Wounded at Cold Harbor, Va. June 27, 1862. Elected 1st Lieutenant July 17, 1862; Captain Aug. 18, 1862. Resigned, disability, May 27, 1863. Retired, disability, Jan. 21, 1865.

Maddox, Joseph J. - Jr. 2d Lieutenant Oct. 6, 1861. Elected Jr. 2d Lieut. July 17, 1862; 1st Lieutenant Aug. 18, 1862. Captured at Wilderness, Va. May 6, 1864. Released at Fort Delaware, Del. June 16, 1865.

Cross, Kinchen R. - 1st Sergeant Oct. 6, Elected Jr. 2d Lieutenant July 22, 1862; 2d Lieutenant Aug. 18, 1862. Captured at Spotsylvania, Va. May 12, 1864. Released at Fort Delaware, Del. June 16, 1865. 1861 (**Bounty Pay & Receipt Roll lists him as Private on 6 Oct 1861.)

Grogan, Richard W. - 2d Sergeant Oct. 6, 1861. Absent without leave and reduced to ranks July 20, 1862. Captured at Gettysburg, Pa. July 1, 1863. Took oath of allegiance to U.S. Govt. at Point Lookout, Md. and enlisted in U.S. service Jan. 24, 1864.

Erwin, James A. - 3d Sergeant Oct. 6, 1861. Wounded in foot and neck at 2d Manassas, Va. Aug. 28, 1862. Reduced to ranks Feb. 1, 1864. Wounded at Wilderness, Va. May 5, 1864. Absent without leave Sept. 1 - Nov. 4, 1864. No later record.

Burgess, Joel - 4th Sergeant Oct. 6, 1861. Appears last on roll for Oct. 31, 1861. Pension records show he was discharged, disability, Apr. 1862. (Born in Ga. in 1837).

Meaders, William M. - 5th Sergeant Oct. 6, 1861. Wounded at Fredericksburg, Va. Dec. 13, 1862. Private in 1863. Absent without leave Sept. 1, 1864. No later record. **Reduced to ranks Sept. 5, 1864. Served in Special Services Disabled Cavalry.

Pettit, Daniel - 1st Corporal Oct. 6, 1861. Discharged July 28, 1862.

Griffin, William F. - 2d Corporal Oct. 6, 1861. Killed at Cold Harbor, Va. June 27, 1862.
