FELIX C. SCOTT
Felix C. Scott, age 80 years, died Saturday, April 29, 1995, after a lengthy
battle with cancer.
Mr. Scott worked for the Kerrville Bus Company for 36 years, Sage Department
Store for several years, and recently retired after 10 years as aCar Guard at
the Capitol for the State Senate.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday,
May 1, 1995, at the funeral home.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Austin Memorial Park at 2:00 PM, Tuesday,
May 2, 1995, with Reverend Albert Elam of the FirstBaptist Church of Dale officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Quinton Boyd, Joe Fowler, James Fowelr,
Dale Witt, Dean Griffith and Mark Preston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Leona, the mother
of his daughters; also, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
Mr. Scott is survived by his wife of 30 years, Frances Scott, of Elgin; his step-mother,
Florence Scott, of Elgin; two daughters, Carolyn Collins and her husband, Bill,
and Judy Boyd and her husband, Billy, all of Austin; seven grandchildren and
15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Gault and
Edith Lanfear; and two brothers, Clyde Scott and LeRay Scott; and nieces, nephews,
cousins and special in-laws, Henrietta Hodde, Alvin Voigt and Buck Voigt.
The family would like to thank Dr. William Myers and the entire staff at the
Texas Oncology, P.A. Center. Also, thanks to the dedicated staff of Brackenridge
Ninth Floor Cancer Center.
