56. Elizabeth Dupuy was born on 16 Aug 1794 in Nottoway County, Virginia. She appeared on the census in 1840 in Desoto County, Mississippi.⁽²⁰³⁾ She appeared on the census on 20 Sep 1850 in Northern Division, DeSoto County, Mississippi.⁽²⁰⁴⁾ She died before 1860 in Desoto County, Mississippi.


According to the B. H. Dupuy book, Elizabeth married Abraham S. Wright, left Virginia and moved to the "southwest". This family has not been traced.

She was married to Abraham S. Wright (son of John Wright and Nancy) about 1812 in Virgina. Abraham S. Wright was born about 1785 in South Carolina. He appeared on the census in 1810 in Nottoway County, Virginia. ⁽²⁰⁵⁾ He appeared on the census in 1830 in Limestone County, Alabama. ⁽²⁰⁶⁾ He died before 1840. Elizabeth Dupuy and Abraham S. Wright had the following children:
