Elizabeth M. Light, born December 7, 1923, in Houston, TX, passed away June 16, 2006, at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William M. DuPuy; daughter, Anna Pearl Kunze; great-grandson, 'Little Buddy'; and brothers, Benjamin D. Alsworth, Jr. and Thomas M. Alsworth. Survivors include her husband, Eddy E. Light; children, James M. DuPuy (Dian), Mary K. Wood (Ed), and D. Ruth Krimsky (Hal); 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Lee Alsworth; sister, Kathryn Stubbs; also, numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2006, 11:30 a.m. at the Oak Hills Presbyterian Church, 6739 Callaghan Rd., with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 p.m., the Rev. Katheryn Barlow-Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Castle Ridge Mortuary.
