94. Martha Dupuy was born on 1 Aug 1771 in Amelia County, Virginia. She died on 10 May 1849 in Henry County, Kentucky.

She was married to Col. Abraham Owen (son of Brackett Owen and Elizabeth McGehee) on 10 Jan 1797 in Kentucky. Col. Abraham Owen was born on 15 Dec 1769 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. He died on 7 Nov 1811 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana.

OWEN, ABRAHAM, soldier, jurist, legislator, was born in 1769 in Prince Edward county, Va. He was surveyor of Shelby county in 1796, subsequently a magistrate, and colonel of the first militia regiment raised in Kentucky. He was in the legislature in 1798, a member of the state constitutional convention the next year, and state senator in 1810. He died Nov. 7, 1811, in Tippecanoe county, Ind.

Owen County, Indiana is named for him.
