1916-2001

Mildred Dupuy Webb, 85, of Russell, died today in Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods.

Mrs. Webb was born Jan. 20, 1916, in Lynn, a daughter of the late Ross and Virginia Hardman Dupuy.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Webb in 1946.

She was a retired teacher with Russell Independent School System. She was a member of Mead Memorial United Methodist Church in Russell, Greenup County Retired Teachers Association, Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, National Retired Teachers Association, Kentucky Omicron Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, and Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She was a Kentucky colonel and a former member of Russell First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Herman Jack Webb of Russell and James L. Webb of Springboro, Ohio; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods by the Rev. Don Young. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Herman Webb was born in 1916. He died on 4 Apr 1948 in Greenup County, Kentucky.⁽¹³²⁴⁾ Mildred J. Dupuy and Herman Webb had the following children:
