FRANK, Virginia L., 84, of Weirton, WV, passed away Monday, October 13, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born April 28, 1924 in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Townes Heid. Her husband Henry Frank and a grandson; a brother and a sister, also preceded her in death.

Virginia was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Weirton. She served her country during WWII in the U.S. Army. She loved to bowl in the Weirton Women's League; play cards and knit.

She is survived by four children; Judy Smith and husband, Dave, of Statesboro, Georgia, Bill Frank and wife, Chris of New Cumberland, W.Va., Dennis Frank and wife, Paulette, of Colliers, W.Va, and Heidi Droppleman and husband, Dan, of Farmland, IND, and 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV, where services will be held Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The Reverend Lynn Yeso will officiate.

Interment will be at Union Cemetery Steubenville, OH.
