FORT WORTH - Joseph A. Richker, who was honored in 1991 as the oldest working certified public accountant in Texas, died Monday at a Fort Worth nursing home. He was 95.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Polytechnic United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5:30 to 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Richker was an Army veteran of World War I. In 1993, President Clinton awarded him a commendation for his service in the war.

He was a member of the East Fort Worth Lions Club, Moslah Temple, Mid-Cities Shrine and the Texas Society for Certified Public Accountants.

Survivors: Wife, Velma Richker of Fort Worth; daughter, Betty McKinzie of North Richland Hills; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
