L. E. ``Shorty'' DuPuy, age 74, of Dripping Springs, died Tuesday, June 25, 1996.

Mr. DuPuy was a resident of Dripping Springs for 30 years and was a home builder for 45 years in the Austin area.

Survivors include his wife, Mary K. DuPuy; sons, Larry DuPuy, and Don DuPuy; daughter, Sheri Jo Murray and husband, John; brothers, Dorman DuPuy and wife, Muriel and Joe DuPuy and wife, Donna; sister, Una V. Beard and husband, Sid.

Mr. DuPuy will lie in state at Harrell Funeral Chapel in Dripping Springs on Wednesday, June 26, 1996.

Funeral services will he held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 1996, at Dripping Springs First Baptist Church with Pastor David Smith officiating. Interment will be in Phillips Cemetery.
