H.C. Glenn joinded the Army in Texas about 1914 and was sent first to For Sam
Houston, then to Fort Ruth, Arkansas, on to Camp Pike, Arkansas, Camp Taylor,
Kentucky, and thenn to Armay wagon #3 Remount 19 at Highland Park, Kentucky,
where he met and married his wife. The only time he ever returned to Texas was
to visit his family in Austin in June, 1954.

Will try to write you a few lines; guess you will surprised to hear from us.
This leaves us all well except the babies they have colds and they are so fat
we are uneasy about them. This is a bad day in raines last night as has turned
to sleet it is very cold and sleeting this noon.
Well Aunt Mary we are sending Papa mail to you as we don't know his address we
received a letter from them Saturday but he didn't tell us where to write. They
are going to move from Jasper's to near Sprinkle close to the school . That
is all we know so you see we don't know much.
Aunt Mary we are sending you one of the babies pictures looks like them Dollie
Elizabeth in on the left with her tongue out the other one is Ollie Francis.
We would like to hear from you and if you know where Nannie [Glenn Mangham]
has moved please tell us as Papa said she had moved but he didn't know where.
Well I guess Harvey and I will stay where we are for a while for he have baught
our home, nice cottage and large yards he is making good money we have a cow,
have our own meat and are fatting another hog to kill later on. So you see we
are getting along fine.
Harvey often talks about you all and the boys. Well as I want to get this off
on the 2 o'clock mail will close for this time. Hope you all are well answer
soon with love to all.

Maggie May Casteel died on 30 Dec 1967 in Shepherdsville, Bullitt County,
Kentucky. She was born on 29 Aug 1993 in Hardin County, Kentucky. She was buried
in Hebron Cemetery, Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Harvey Clarence Glenn and Maggie
May Casteel had the following children:
