Services for Marvin Perry Estepp, 72, 1422-A Avenue G, are scheduled for 10 a.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Phillips officiating.

Burial is to follow in Odessa Cemetery.

Mr. Estepp died Wednesday at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born Jan. 6. 1913, in Sterling City. He married Vera May Skelton on Oct. 12, 1937, in Midland.

Mr. Estepp was a pumper for Atlantic Richfield Co. for 36 years. He was a member of Vine Avenue Baptist Church. He moved to Odessa in 1940.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jack Estepp of Eureka Springs, Ark., and Perry Estepp of Waxahachie; a daughter, Nancy L. Melton of Knoxville, Ark., mother, Arrie Estepp of Crane; a sister, Viola Mae Gage of Odessa; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Vine Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund.

He was married to Vera May Skelton (daughter of Edward Lee Skelton and Arlie Verte Williams) on 12 Oct 1937 in Odessa, Ector County, Texas. Vera May Skelton was born on 16 Apr 1917. She died on 9 Jan 2009 in Italy, Ellis County, Texas.
