W. A. Glenn Dies at Duncan Home

Word has been received here of the death of W. A. Glenn, Sunday, at his home near Duncan. Funeral services are to be conducted from the Banner church, near his home, and burial is to be in Rose Hill cemetery here.

Mr. Glenn was born in Austin, Texs, in 1900. He had been living near Duncan for the past three years.

Surviving relatives include the widow and five children of Duncan, his parents, four brothers and four sisters, all of whom live in and near Chickasha.

He was married to Nina Lura Shorter (daughter of George Shorter and Willie Fox) on 25 Feb 1923 in Sterling, Oklahoma. Nina Lura Shorter was born on 18 Jul 1904 in Sterling, Oklahoma. She died on 25 May 1977 in Duncan, Oklahoma. She was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma.⁽⁵²⁴⁾ William Alfred Glenn and Nina Lura Shorter had the following children:
