MRS. ELIZABETH CROMEANS
Mrs. Elizabeth Cromeans, 73, died in a local hospital Wednesday. Mrs. Cromeans
had been a resident of Travis County and Austin for the past 70 years. She was
a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Annie Cowan of Marshall Ford; four sons,
Charlie and Alfred Cromeans of Austin, Lee Cromeans of Temple and Tom Cromeans
of Salado.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilke Funeral home at 5 p.m. Thrusday with
the Rev. H. H. Spence officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Pall bears
will be J. J. Long, A. C. Pope, Walter Bergstrom, William Green, Benny Berry
and J. T. Thompson.
She was married to Andrew Jackson Cromeans (son of Andrew
Jackson Cromeans and Nancy Jane Wood) in 1888 in Fredericksburg,
Gillespie County, Texas. Andrew Jackson Cromeans
was born on 18 Sep 1863 in Coryell County, Texas. He appeared on the census
on 7 Jun 1900 in JP #4, Travis County, Texas.(92)
