569. John Paisley Rutledge was born on 9 May 1912 in Pond Springs, Williamson County, Texas. ⁽⁶³⁸⁾ He died on 22 May 1979 in Big Spring, Howard County, Texas. ⁽⁶³⁹⁾ He was buried in Whitharral Cemetery, Hockley County, Texas.

Rutledge

BIG SPRING (SNS) - J.P. Rutledge, 67, of Big Spring died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday in a Big Spring hospital after a four month illness. Graveside services were Wednesday at the Whitharral Cemetery in Whitharral.

Mr. Rutledge was born May 9, 1912, in Pond Spring. He moved to Big Spring from Fort Worth when he retired from his job as painter in 1976. He was a Baptist and was in the Navy Air Corps during World War II. Survivors include a brother, M.C. Rutledge; and sister. Ruby Rutledge, both of Big Spring. Another brother, Virgil Rutledge, died in 1971.
