Charles "Welby" Griffin
Charles "Welby" Griffin was born September 2, 1929 and died September
23, 1993. He was a member of Koenig Lane Christian Church.
He worked for the Texas National Guard at Camp Mabry, for over thirty years,
and retired as a Sergeant in March, 1985.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 1993 in the
Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar. Interment will be
in Cook-Walden/Capital Park. Pallbearers will be Cecil Griffin, LeRoy Griffin,
Jimmy Griffin, Dave Griffin, Kenneth Griffin and Bob Griffin.
Survivors are his former spouse of forty-two Years, Patricia Griffin; children.
Calvin E. and Sandy Griffin; Christopher L. Griffin; and Carol P. and K. Lewis
Kincheloe; grandchildren, Brandon and Brock Griffin, Crystal and Stacy Griffin
and Travis Kincheloe.

He was married to Patricia Ann Cox (daughter of Alex
F. Cox and Fay Shelton) on 6 Nov 1950 in Austin, Travis

from Patricia Ann Cox on 16 Sep 1993 in Williamson County, Texas.
