DOLORES A. GIESENSCHLAG, 87, of Houston passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2000. She recently celebrated her birthday in the loving company of her family. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she dearly loved her family. She is survived by her sons Warren "Judd" Giesenschlag and wife Jane of Denver, CO. And Richard N. Giesenschlag and wife Carol of Houston, TX, grandchildren Marsha Smith, Theresa Jones, David Giesenschlag, Denise Ormsbee, all of San Diego, CA, Russell Giesenschlag of New York, NY, Karl Giesenschlag, Robert Giesenschlag, Kara Harmon, Dolores Miller, all of Arlington, TX, "special daughter," Alma Giesenschlag, 15 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William J. Giesenschlag and her grandson, Roger Giesenschlag.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2000 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer at Dairy Ashford. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 3, 2000 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Memorial Mission Mausoleum.

William Juds Giesenschlag (son of Rhinehart Giesenschlag and Mary Belle Flanagan) was born on 19 Jan 1911. He died on 4 Jul 1992 in Harris County, Texas. ⁽⁷⁶⁾ Dolores Alberta Nelson and William Juds Giesenschlag had the following children:
