SWEETWATER - Calvin ``Don'' Maxwell, 74, died Thursday, July 22, 1999, in a local hospital.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with military graveside service in Sweetwater Cemetery.

He was born June 18, 1925, in Cleveland, Okla., had lived in San Angelo and was a longtime resident of Sweetwater. An Army veteran of World War II, he worked for Skelly Oil Co. for 34 years and was an independent oil producer until retiring.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Maxwell of Sweetwater; a daughter, Cathy Williams of Plainview; three sons, Ronnie Maxwell, Pat Maxwell and Mike Maxwell, all of Sweetwater; a brother, Doyle Maxwell of Cleveland, Okla.; five sisters, Dorothy Maxwell, De Etta Snyder and Dadreon Ritchie, all of Cleveland, and Delores Dobson and Della Maxwell, both of Tulsa, Okla.,; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
