Was a resident of Cisco Texas until 1936, when she moved to El Paso. She was a member of the First Christian Church of El Paso.

JOHNSTON

Mrs. Rena I. Johnston, 89, 200 Shadow Mountain Dr., passed away Thursday. She had been a resident of El Paso 45 years; and was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survived by sister, Miss Maud Isaacks, El Paso, brothers, Bill Isaacks, El Paso, Buford Isaacks, Joshua, Tex.; grandchildren, Bill Johnston, Mena, Ark., Nancy Ratliff, Farmington, New Mexico, Judy Johnston, Midland, Tex., Christopher Johnston, El Paso; 4 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Wade Johnston, El Paso, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Kaster Maxon & Futrell Downtown Chapel, Rev. Charles Nichols officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Oakwood Cemetery, Cisco, Tex.

She was married to Wade Knight Johnston (son of Christopher Columbus Johnston and Nannie Elizabeth Anderson) on 19 Dec 1913 in Midland, Midland County, Texas. Wade Knight Johnston was born on 2 Feb 1887 in McLanis, Will Gaines County, Texas. He appeared on the census on 27 Jan 1920 in West Cisco, Eastland County, Texas. ⁽¹⁰²⁶⁾ He appeared on the census on 3 Apr 1930 in Cisco, Eastland County, Texas.⁽¹⁰²⁷⁾ He died on 22 Dec 1936 in Cisco, Eastland County, Texas. He was buried in Cisco Cemetery, Eastland County, Texas. Rena Capitola Isaacks and Wade Knight Johnston had the following children:
