L. Rutledge 320 acre tract to T. L. Rutledge, Jr. on 21 Aug 1905 in Comanche County, Texas. ⁽³⁷¹⁾ She appeared on the census on 3 May 1910 in District #1, Comanche County, Texas.⁽³⁷²⁾ She appeared on the census on 2 Jan 1920 in JP #6, Burleson Road, Austin, Travis County, Texas. ⁽³⁷³⁾ She appeared on the census on 22 Apr 1930 in Austin, Travis County, Texas.⁽³⁷⁴⁾ She died on 9 Aug 1940 in Austin, Travis County, Texas. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin, Travis County, Texas. ⁽³⁷⁵⁾

Mrs. Eliza East dies at Age 86

Mrs. Eliza East, 86, resident of Austin for 29 years, died at the family residence, 1218 Burleson Road, Friday night.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Viola Clore of Ausitn, Mrs. Winnie Nelson of Austin, Mrs. Vines of Eastland, Mrs. Ethel Hancock and Mrs. Ollie Shepherd of San Antonio; five sons, Jasper East of San Antonio, Ernest East, Leonard East, Malcolm East and Edd. East, all of Austin; one sister, Miss Marian Rutledge of Austin; and one brother, A. G. Rutledge of Lampasas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Cook Funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

She was married to Albert Wynne East (son of William A. East and Elizabeth Searcy) on 17 Dec 1874 in Williamson County, Texas.⁽³⁷⁶⁾ Albert Wynne East was born in 1847 in Madison County, Tennessee. He appeared on the census in Jun 1880 in Halletsville, Lavaca County, Texas. ⁽³⁷⁷⁾ He died on 1 Apr 1898 in Lampasas, Lampasas County, Texas. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lampassas, Texas. ⁽³⁷⁸⁾ Eliza Camp Rutledge and Albert Wynne East had the following children:
