live with her daughter in Annapolis, Maryland, and later with her grandaughter
in Missoula, Montana.

to Daniel Everett Emmons in 1940 in Travis County, Texas.
Daniel Everett Emmons was born on 23 Mar 1905 in Newton County, Texas.
He died on 14 Mar 1971 in Austin, Travis County, Texas. He was buried in Austin
Memorial Park, Travis County, Texas. From the Austin Newspaper, Monday, March

DAN EMMONS
Dan Emmons, 65, of 4015 Brookview Road, died in a local hospital Sunday afternoon.
He was a retired auditor for the Texas Emplyment Commission and was a member
of the University Babptist Church. He had been a resident of Austin for 55 years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vernie H. Emmons of Austin; one daughter Mrs.
Peggy J. Greer of Stowe, Vermont, one sister, Mrs. Jack McKay Sr. of Austin;
one nephew, Jack McKay Jr., of Austin; two grandchildren and one great-great
grandchild.
Funeral plans are pending at Hytlin-Manor Funeral Home.

DAN E. EMMONS
Funeral for Dan E. Emmons, 65, of 4015 Brookview Rd., was at 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Hytlin-Manor Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur L. Dunn officiating. Burial was in
Austin Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Jack Burcham, Henry H. Rothell, Biff Kuykendall, Everett Anschetz,
Leo Brockman and Eldon Lind.
Honorary pallbearers were John S. Burns and Dr. C. M. Darnell.
