Jeannie White, 76, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. Stramer F. White (USAF Ret.), four sons, Stramer F. White II and wife, Linda, Thomas W. White and wife, Diane, Christopher L. White and wife, Michiko, and Douglas A. White and wife, Kathy; a daughter, Jeannie M. Senne and husband, Ronald; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Robert G. White.

Jeannie and her husband are native Austinites. Married for 58 years, they resided in Oak Hill for 33 years and attended the Fairview Church of Christ. Jeannie graduated from Austin High School in 1941. A United States Air Force wife, she traveled extensively until her husband's retirement in 1967.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2000, at the Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Oak Hill.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 20, 2000, at 3:00 p.m. at the same location. Interment will follow. The Reverend George McCall of the Fairview Church of Christ will preside.

Pallbearers are Stramer F. White II, Thomas W. White, Christopher L. White, Douglas A. White, Gregory S. White, and Ryan C. Senne. Honorary pallbearers are Ronald Senne, Thomas White Jr., Robert White, Kenric White, Christopher White II, Patrick White, and Jesse White.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairview Church of Christ at 301 Ramble Lane in Austin, Texas 78745.


She was married to Col. Frank Stramer White in 1942. Jeannie Brydson and Col. Frank Stramer White had the following children:
