He was married to Adeline W. Dobbins (daughter of James Dobbins and Elizabeth Webster) on 17 Nov 1836 in Maury County, Tennessee. Adeline W. Dobbins was born in 1818 in Maury County, Tennessee. She appeared on the census on 16 Aug 1850 in District #14, Maury County, Tennessee. ⁽⁷⁵⁾ She appeared on the census on 16 Aug 1860 in District #14, Maury County, Tennessee.⁽⁷⁶⁾ She died in 1878 in Maury County, Tennessee. She was buried in Jonathan Webster Cemetery, Maury County, Tennessee. Lytle Lythe Dooley and Adeline W. Dobbins had the following children:
