RITES SET FOR MRS. RUTLEDGE
Mrs. Addie Glenn Rutledge, 86, of 404 Goliad, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a local
hospital after a short illness.
She was born Jan. 30, 1878 in Austin, and was married to Manie Rutledge Oct.
21, 1898. He died Nov. 6, 1928.
The family moved to Big Spring in November, 1928 from Levelland. She was a member
of the Park Methodist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Nalley-Pickle Rosewood chapel with Dr.
H. Clyde Smith, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will
be at 5 p.m. Friday in the Whitharral, Texas Cemetery under the direction of
Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home.
Surviving are three sons, Virgil Rutledge, Hereford, M. C. Rutledge and J. T.
Rutledge, Big Spring; a daughter, Ruby Rutledge, Big Spring; two brothers, Jasper
Glenn and Charlie Glenn, both of Austin; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Warren, Austin,
Mrs. Arrie Estepp, Crane, Mrs. Buelah Bell, San Angelo; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Manie Eugene Rutledge and Addie Lavena Glenn had the following children:
