He bought property from his brother Clyde Rutledge on 26 Oct 1904 in Travis County, Texas. ⁽⁹⁸²⁾ He appeared on the census on 19 Apr 1910 in 1904 Guadalupe, JP #3, 3rd Ward, Austin, Texas. ⁽⁹⁸³⁾ He appeared on the census on 12 Jan 1920 in 1904 Guadalupe, 3rd Ward, Austin, Texas.⁽⁹⁸⁴⁾ He appeared on the census on 7 Apr 1930 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. ⁽⁹⁸⁵⁾ He died on 2 Apr 1968 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He was buried in Andice Cemetery, Williamson County, Texas.

Was divorced in 1924 or 1925 in San Antonio. Moved to Houston, Texas in 1923 where he continued his trade as a barber. Made his home with his son from 1951 until his death in 1963 at various military assignments in both the United States and Europe.

NEALY W. RUTLEDGE

Nealy Willard Rutledge died Tuesday at DeWitt Army Hospital in Ft. Belzoir, Va. He is survived by a son, Col. Walton A. Rutledge of Alexandria, Va. The body will be received Thursday by Cook Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at Andice Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cook Funeral Home.

He was married to Martha M. Golden (daughter of William B. Golden and Sarah E.) in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. Martha M. Golden was born on 16 Feb 1885 in Madrid, Boone County, Iowa. She died in 1947 in Mount Morris, Genesee County, Michigan. Nealy Willard Rutledge and Martha M. Golden had the following children:
