Virgil Rutledge Services Pending

BIG SPRING (SC) - Virgil Rutledge, 66, was dead on arrival at a local hospital Wednesday afternoon after apparently suffering a heart attack.

Services are pending at Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home.

He was born Jan. 18, 1904 in Round Rock. He was a retired roughneck and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a sister Miss Ruby Rutledge of Big Spring; and two brothers, Carl Rutledge and J. P. Rutledge, both of Fort Worth.
