575. Inez Irene Isaacks was born on 26 Feb 1893 in Page, Texas. She appeared on the census on 8 Apr 1930 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas.⁽¹⁰³¹⁾ She died on 4 Dec 1965 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas. ⁽⁴⁶⁰⁾ She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso, Texas.

She moved to El Paso after her husband died. Inez was a schoolteacher at the Coldwell school in El Paso, Texas, from 1933. She was a member of the First Christian Church of El Paso.

Mrs. Foster Dies; Rites Pending


Mrs. Inez Foster, 3021 Federal Ave., sister of El Paso State Rep., Maud Isaacks, died Saturday night after several years of illness.

Mrs. Foster, the widow of the late George Thomas Foster, had been a resident of El Paso for about 37 years. She had taught in Coldwell School since 1933. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She was the daughter of the late Judge and Mrs. S. J. Isaacks.

Survivors are two sisters, Miss Isaacks and Mrs. W. K. Johnston, both of El Paso; two brothers, Bill Isaacks, El Paso, and Buford Isaacks, Cleburne, Tex., three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Rutledge Isaacks, Austin, and Mrs. Jack Isaacks and Miss Fanny Foster both of El Paso, three nephews and a niece.

Funeral arrangements were pending at Kaster and Maxon Funeral Home, downtown.

Funeral Held for Mrs. Foster

Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Foster who died Saturday were held today in Kaster and Maxon Downtown Chapel with Rev. Clifford E. Hargrave officiating. She had been a resident of El Paso for 37 years and lived at 3021 Federal Avenue.

Mrs. Foster had taught school at Coldwell since 1933. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was the sister of State Representative Maud Isaacks and the daughter of the Late Judge and Mrs. S. J. Isaacks.

OTHER SURVIVORS include another sister, Mrs. W. K. Johnston, El Paso, and two brothers, Bill Isaacks, El Paso, and Buford Isaacks, Cleburne, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Rutledge Isaacks, Austin, Mrs. Jack Isaacks and Mrs. Fannie foster, both of El Paso; a niece, three nephews and several grand nieces and grand nephews.

Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

She was married to George Thomas Foster in 1922 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas. George Thomas Foster was born in 1889. He died on 1 Feb 1930 in Los Angeles County, California. ⁽¹⁰³²⁾
