*All proceeds from the show will help to defray the medical costs of Desiree Cross' cancer treatments. Many in the Decatur community know Desiree Cross’ mother and Cartman and Schroder’s grandmother, Sylvia Cross, who runs the Sycamore Place Gallery and Studios. Sylvia Cross runs a children’s summer art camp at her Decatur studio and teaches during the school year at the Glenn School for Young Children in Atlanta. Ms. Cross has also taught at Georgia State University, Chastain and the Spruill Arts Center and formerly owned Sylvia’s Atomic Café in Atlanta.
Monetary and silent auction item donations are being accepted. A bank account has been established at the BOND Community Federal Credit Union in Atlanta in Desiree Cross’ name by her employer at Little Five Points Pharmacy, Ira Katz.
