Methadone Information Exchange
New Forum: the MIE Message Board! We've added a new feature to the Methadone Information Exchange. The MIE Message Board is a CGI scripted forum that allows you to post new messages and replies automatically, then read them on-line seconds after you've written them. Messages can be searched, sorted by thread, date, or author, and each user can set preferences to tailor the look and feel of the board to their own taste. The MIE Message Board is not a replacement for the Letters Page, but an alternate forum to meet the needs of those who want faster action, or need a speedy reply. Use the Message Board for questions and answers, brief notes and comments. Use the Letters Page for letters to the editor, opinions on current issues, statements to the world-at-large about methadone maintenance treatment. Go to the Message Board - Communicate with methadone maintenance patients and professionals from around the world. Ask questions, get answers. Go to the Letters Page - Opinions, guest editorials, points of view. Break the stereotypes, tell the world the truth about methadone maintenance treatment. NIH Consensus Panel Recommends Expanding Access to and Improving MTPs

Use CapWeb to get names and addresses of your senators and representatives. Visit the MMT Directory for info on contacting your state methadone authority. Two URLs for MIEIf you use http://www.mindspring.com/~methinfex to access MIE, consider trying http://methinfex.home.mindspring.com. Both URLs bring you to this page, but you may find the second one is easier to use and remember. Either way, it's up to you. In the News...
