History Of Vancouver
Rock 'n Roll 1-4
Boy, was I suprised
to see that these are still in print! Each volume comes
with a very informative booklet. The first volume is late 50's/early 60's rock
'n roll, the second features pop and mersey sounds, the third gets into the garage
and, naturally, the 4th psychs out! All volumes are necessities and you can get them
from Neptoon Records
Ottawa Rocks! The Sir John A Records Story
CD reissue of the
best cuts from Ottawa's Sir John A Records label. Killer cuts! Out of Print. Features all of the groups
listed on our Sir John A pages.
The Haunted
Two LP's from Bomp!
The Rough
Diamonds #4: Haunted in Return From The Grave and Vapour Mauve (out of print).
Both are essential!
The Great Scots

but TWO Sundazed
The Great Scots Arrive! and The Great Lost Album. In print, no excuses! GET THEM!!!
25 Groupes des Annees '60 #1-5
Five CD compilation series of extremely rare,
60's garage, pop and instrumental groups. Many of these groups had not been reissued before. These releases give
an excellent overview of what was really happening on the Quebecoise teen scene! Released by Denis Pantis who has
produced and performed in many of the groups on these CD's.
25 Success Anglais
Another Denis Pantis production, this time with
Quebec groups who sang in English!
The Best Of Tom Northcott
LP issue featuring Vancouver folk-rock artist
Tom Northcott. Features material from the
mid-60's to the early 70's all in a very accoustic style. This is still available! You can get it from
Neptoon Records
The Best Of Gaiety Records
CD of a great many of the Gaiety cuts, spanning the breadth
of the 60's. All styles of music are included. Great tracks like the Checkerlads and Tomorrow's Keepsake plus
quite a few by Lexington Ave. Great place to hear many obscure Winnipeg bands. Order from Pacemaker.
The 49th Parallel
First complete compilation CD of this wild
Calgary group. Cuts range from 60's punk to psychedelia, and often feature quieter moments.
Order from Pacemaker.
The Ugly Ducklings
Have had two recent CD compilations out
The Pacemaker CD is the best, and features only original 60's Toronto recordings.
Pacemaker also threatens to reissue A Passing Fancy LP!
The BNA Act
Antar release from the mid-80's of this
most obscure Canadian group from Montreal, one of the are English groups from that city. Beautiful
folk-rock with psychy and punky moments - all original compositions! Out of print, but it does
turn up!
