This garden is inspired by music. The colors, including the colors of
the house are directly inspired by psychedelic music. The garden itself
is named after a song by the 90's UK psychedelic band The Nerve's "Seeds From The
The Electric Garden". Other modern groups like Plasticland, WatchChildren, Tyrnaround
and Modfun are all highly influential. 60's groups such as the Seeds who coined the
term "Flower Power" and The Music Machine and The Poppy Family who were two of the first groups to sing
about ecology also provide inspiration. Besides psychedelic music the plant choice is
relies heavily on the themes of Exotica like those created by Arthur Lyman and other environmental
sound geniuses.
