DragonFire is a well structured ferret with impressive body mass which is how he got his nickname of "Chubba". He takes after his Mom with his color and pulls structural characteristics from his grandmother Lady Bug and his father Shamen.
He has an impressive head. The depth and width of his head is fantastic. He has a nice full muzzle and very nice features. He is short-coupled and fairly wide so his proportions are quite nice.
His personality is a joy to have around; he is so silly! He plays with toys, leaps and dances, talks to himself and to others, and just has a great time. You can see that coming through in some of the photos below.
DragonFire was shown at the AFA Winter Nationals in December 2007 at the age of 7 months. He took Best In Show Adolescent Hob out of 51 entries! I will be showing him in 2008 so we will see how he does as he continues to mature. He is maintaining his body mass very well despite being in season which is a good sign.
