Lincoln Young from Eleuthera got a phone line to work on Sunday Afternoon. He is well. Much structural damage, no deaths in Eleuthera. He did mention a second death in the Bahamas to add to the one in Freeport. He had news from Nassau and Freeport. He feels that Freeport will suffer the most. Lincoln said they got water back today and hope to have power in 2 to 3 days. He said that he heard there was a lot of structural damage in Cat Island. Pray for the Deveaux family, The Steve McQueen family, and the Burrows and congregation in Long Island. Pray too for the brethren in Freeport, Abaco, and Nassau.
Most counties in Florida still have curfews. We have had more than 11 inches of rain in Palm Beach County with more to come.Winds are down to about 50 mph. Looks like about 24 more hours before Francis moves out into the Gulf and perhaps strengthens to cause more flooding damage to the North.
Ivan is still moving fast and gain strength in the Atlantic.
We are thankful to hear from Lincoln and will let you know as we hear from others.
Lincoln says it is too early to know what they are going to need the most. I do know that it will take money to get what ever they need!
Keep us and all the victims in your prayers.
