Bahama Hurricane Update #9
September 26, 2004

This will be short as I am running on battery. Dinah and I are fine after riding out Jeanne early this morning with winds of 115 gusting to 129. We sustained some damage, but nothing compared to others. There are about a million homes without power in Florida.

Abaco was hit hard with winds of 105 and gusting bfeore Jeanne strengthened. Freeport was not in any condition to get hit again. These two Islands will have to be our priority now without neglecting the needs of Lincoln in Eleuthera, the Deveaux family in Cat, and the brethren in Long Island.

We are thankful for your support and care. The calls we got and the e-mails sent.

Checks for those of you who want to help can be made to Bahama Mission Church of Christ, sent:

David Caskey-Missions, Gulf Coast Church of Christ
3825 McGregor Blvd.
Ft. Myers, Florida 33901

Our phones are not reliable.

Please pray for the victims everywhere. Help is going to Jamaica, Haiti and Granada. We are still trying to find Brother Bothwell and get help to Cayman.
