I am researching Elijah HESTER b.abt 1833 Stokes Co, son of Robert HESTER
(d.1843) and Sarah____?
I have him and his family (wife, Mahala HITCHCOCK, m.21 Dec 1852,
Forsyth) in 1850 (with mother and older sister, Susanna), 60 (w/3
children) and 70 census (w/5 children and 60 yr. old sister). I can't
find him at all in 1880.
One son, Zebedee (Elias Z. HESTER) m. Minnie REDDICK 10 Jun 1904,
Guilford Co.
Would appreciate swapping info with anyone else researching this line.
These HESTERs resided in Middle Fork Twp, once of Stokes and then of
Forsyth Co. I think Elijah may have been one name listed on court papers
to form Forsyth Co. (found once in gen.soc.jounal but didn't copy).

Looking for information on Sarah PREMAR-RICKS, whose daughter, Susan
RICKS-SHEPHARD was born in Winston Salem on March 10, 1848. She married
a man by the name of SHEPHARD and was widowed. She then married my GG
Grandfather William J MCDANIEL somewhere in NC about 1875. Thank you for
your responses. Susan RICKS had a brother that was a Confederate soldier
that was once wounded. Also Researching William MCDANIEL, born April 9,
1839 in Greensboro, NC. His mother's maiden name was HERITAGE.

they had sons Stephen, Jr. and John CLEATON or CLAYTON. Desperately
seeking information on these CLEATONS OR CLAYTONS. Stephen CLEATON or
CLAYTON had an Inventory of Estate, dated Aug 1794 that is also missing

ask for the sum of 10 pounds. What happened to Cynthia HARRIS and the
child she had by Ephriam BANNER.

Seeking information about Isabella (Sarah) SCOTT who
married John MARTIN. Their first son, born in NC c. 1779 was James Scott
MARTIN. John and Isabella moved to Logan County, KY in approximately
1780 where they remained with their family until about 1817 when they
traveled on to IL. Their other children included Jane, William Harvey,
Samuel, Rezin Charles, James Frost, Euphamy, and Phillip W. MARTIN.
Might have been connected to James SCOTT who married Lidia MARTIN on 26
Nov 1759 in Rowan County, NC.

b:Nov.9,1897,d:Oct.4,1977. Also buried at Antioch Baptist church
cemetery in BROWN FAMILY PLOT.

Looking for information on Joshua Freeman and his wife
Sarah Duggin they lived in the Forsyth county NC area in the
early 1800's (possibly Stokes county before Forsyth was formed)
they had 3 children Hiram R. Freeman (1854-1891) who moved
to KY, Andy Freeman and James Freeman. Any information
on any of these persons would be greatly appreciated.
