I'm trying to get information on the BURCHETTE family.
My grandfather was Grover Cleveland Burchette born in Ronda, NC
in May 1892. His parents were James Nathaniel Burchette and
Mary Ann "Mollie" POPLIN. I believe they lived on a farm in
Ronda and had a number of children: Lemuel, David, Ernest, Nathaniel,
James, Joseph, & Fred. Mollie died in 1896 and James remarried
a woman named Bettie Elvira BOLDIN. I believe they also had
several children (Daisy Alma, Clyde and Paul). Looking for any
info on my grandfather's siblings as well as info on my great
grandparents.

I can only document as far back as Charles Johnston Wright - who
was a railroad engineer. He would have been born in the late 1800s.
He had several children, one of them Herbert Thomas Wright. At
least two other boys and a girl. He possibly lived for a time in
Forsyth County. His mother's name was Mary, and she was the grandaughter
or great-grandaughter of Braxton Bragg (of Ft. Bragg fame).

child of John Philip Fishel. She was born 2 Feb. 1813 and may have gone
to the Moravian community of Hope, IN.
These were all connected with the Moravian Church.
