PENSION APPLICANTS PEOPLES PRESS June 26 1890 The following persons filed for pensions with Register of Deeds Stanton according to the Act for the relief of widows and disabled Confederate soldiers, etc., passed by the State Legislature and going into effect March 11th, 1889. Below we publish a list of those in this county for whom Register of Deeds KOEHLN has received checks under the pension roll. Their names have been printed in these columns before, and a close observer will notice that the list grows shorter as the years go by, as one by one they are being called upon to answer the roll call with a majority of their departed comrades upon the other side.
