                Dormition of the Theotokos
  The Nativity of Christ from a late 13th century prototype from Mt Sinai, St. Katherine's Monastery.  It is guilded in burnished 23k. gold, and painted in egg tempera, on solid mahogony with trusses in back.  20" x 24"
