The Frontrunners Boston Charitable Foundation, Inc. was created by Frontrunners Boston in 1988 as a 501(c)3 non-profit entity with the sole purpose of administering the charitable activities of Frontrunners Boston. The Foundation's primary focus since its inception has been to raise funds to support people living with HIV/AIDS through the sponsorship of a number of fund-raising activities - including last year's immensely successful Yuletide Stride, now in its 14th year (next running: December 2, 2001.  Each year, the proceeds from this 5-mile benefit run are used by volunteers to assemble generous gift baskets for nearly 500 men, women and children in eastern Massachusetts during the holiday season in December.  The gift baskets are personally delivered by volunteers to the recipients' homes during the week before Christmas.  During the past ten+ years, over 4,500 gift baskets have been delivered!   Foundation Chair: Open frontrunnersboston@hotmail.com.
