It's hard to photograph the Treffen. Thousands and thousands of people, each doing their own "thing". Overall, German goth seems to be a lot more influenced by romance and Renaissance tham in the US - you see a lot more velvet, capes, big lacy dresses, and long hair. But there was a big change this year - where last year there were only a few people dressed in bright colors (my "Flourogirls" picture from last year), this year it was a lot more common. Of course, the rain and cool temperatures affected everyone's fashion this year, too. See for yourself:
