FICTION WRITING FOR
ASPIRING NOVELISTS & SHORT STORY WRITERS
Genre; Character; Point of View (POV) and Plot development; Writing Exercises;
Workshopping (critiquing); Formatting
and
ARTICLE WRITING FOR ASPIRING FREELANCERS
Subject selection; 5 W's; Research and fact checking; Formatting; Newsletters;
Submitting - taking the professional approach:
Know your market, Query letters, EditingClasses taught by Senior Members of Georgia Writers Association, all
Published Writers and/or Editors,
who will share their knowledge and experience.Cost: $40 includes 1-year membership in
Young Georgia Writers
Membership year: July 1, 2002 - June 30, 2003.
New memberships activate immediately,
no renewal due until June 30, 2003.
Young Georgia Writers members meet regularly
12:15 PM - 2 PM on the first Saturday of each month
at the Buckhead Library
