38th Annual Georgia Author of the Year Awards
DEADLINE: DECEMBER 31, 2001
For books published in calendar 2001
ELIGIBILITY:
Authors must be Georgia residents;
Books must have been published between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2001;
Books may have been published anywhere;
(Self-published and ghost-written books must be identified).
WHO MAY NOMINATE:
Anyone may nominate an author's book, however it is
usually
the Publisher who takes on that duty and responsibility.
REQUIRED ARE:
Official
Nomination Form
2 copies of each book,
an extra book jacket or full color facsimile,
author's bio,
copies of reviews, if any,
a clear, reproducible photo of author in
color, black and white, half-tone
OR
as a .jpg or .gif
emailed to gawriter@mindspring.com
Lifetime Achievement Nomination Form

Acrobat Reader
to print either of the forms.
The categories are:
Creative
Non Fiction
(this category will be divided into appropriate divisions,
i.e., Memoir, Historical, Biographical, etc.)
Fiction First Novel Poetry
Short Stories/Anthologies
Children's and Young Adult Literature
(this category will be divided into appropriate divisions,
i.e., Picture book, Mid-Reader, etc.)
Lifetime Achievement
(see separate nomination form, above)
