If you have read my other pages (USMC, Pirates, PSU, Beer) you should have a good idea about who I am, where I'm from, and what my interests are.

I was raised in Murrysville, PA (25 miles east of Pittsburgh off of Route 22). I grew up on the family farm off of Mamont Road. I went to high school at Franklin Regional High School and graduated in 1978. I attended Penn State and graduated in 1982 with a BS in Science. I joined the Marine Corps and was stationed in Hawaii, Washington DC, Camp Pendleton CA, Chicago IL, Monterey CA, and Quantico VA. Additionally, I've been around the world three times with the Corps. I've been to the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Pattaya Beach Thailand, Korea, Okinawa, Mombasa Kenya, Somalia. Diego Garcia, Oman, Abu Dhabi UAE, Dubai UAE, and Bahrain. I have had stints of duty in Beirut (1983), the Persian/Arabian Gulf (1991), and supported Allied Force from Germany (1999). I retired from the Marines in 2003 after 21 years of service. I am a fan of Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball, Penn State Football, and I home brew my own beer.

Here is a picture of my wife Karin and me at the 1991 Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Karin is a Hoosier; she was raised in Indianapolis and did both her Bachelors and Masters work at Indiana University (so there is a little Big 10 conference rivalry in our house!). We met in Washington DC and were married on April 15, 1989. Karin has worked for the National Labor Relations Board and other government agencies for the last 15 years.

Jackson John arrived in the family in December 2000. For some reason, he is a big fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. I've included a picture of Jackson and me from Father's Day 2002.

Is there something here you like, that needs to be changed,
