The portrait will be executed by Gregory Floyd West in conformity with
his established procedures and recognized style.
Deposit
A 40% deposit is required before the sittings begin. The deposit is
non-refundable once work commences.
Balance
The balance is payable on acceptance by the client of the completed
portrait. I guarantee your satisfaction. You do not have to pay the remaining
balance unless you're happy with the painting.
Frame
The cost of the frame is not included in the commission price. If you
would like, Mr. West will select a museum-quality frame fitting your budget.
Frame cost will be billed separately.
Crating and Shipping
The costs of crating and shipping, if required, are not included in
commission price.
Travel Expenses
Travel and living expenses, when it is necessary for the artist to
leave Atlanta, will be billed as incurred. While the artist prefers to
take his own reference photographs, he will develop a painting from pre-existing
photographs if the client so desires. This enables the client to commission
portraits of ancestors as well as living relatives.
Standard sizes are as follows:
Head and Shoulders [24" x 20"]
3/4 Length [36" x 30"]
Full Length [40" x 30"]
