Jul 1752 . The "Betty" sailed from Helvoot Roads, outside of Rotterdam, on 16
May 1752 with Robert Warden, Master. Jacques is listed as a farmer, 43 years
old, and from Monbeliard. His party is shown to contain one adult male, one
adult female, two "half freights" (i.e. minors). His son, Jean George is shown
in the following listing on his own.

23 Nov 1797, when a Notice of Probate was published. It was not until 20 Oct
1808, however, that an Administrator was appointed for the estate. The
subsequently filed inventory of payments from the estate begins in October 1788.
Jean George Bizet was Farmer. He immigrated to Halifax, Halifax, Nova Scotia,,
23 Jul 1752 . He arrived on the "Betty" with parents, but is shown in his own
listing as a single male, 17 years old. He actually was 14 1/2, but probably
mis-represented his age to gain a personal entitlement to a promised homestead
grant.

Scotia, . There is no known reason why this second marriage took place between
these same individuals; he died 24 Mar 1834 Cole Harbour, Halifax, Nova Scotia,
age 65.
