Personal Stuff:
My wife, Shulamit, and I live in a nice condo on the beach in Aventura, Florida, 5 minutes from I-95
and about a 2 minute drive away from the Atlantic beaches, so I have a good chance to enjoy the ocean.
I try to lead an active life, participate in various teams in the local soccer amateur leagues, frequently attend rock
concerts and NHL's Florida Panthers hockey games. (most recently - Metalica, AC/DC, and
U2).
My favorite things to do: reading history or sci-fi books, going to the movies, going to the beach, traveling, surf the net, watch NHL hockey (GO Panthers!!!!!), soccer, and basketball (this white man can jump!)
My parents also live in the area (in Lake Worth), so I get to see them once in a while.

What's in the name
Eugene is the translation of an ancient Roman name
Yevgeniy which means "well-born", "born into an aristocratic family". Unfortunately this name
was used as the root for a name of an inhuman (and illegal) scientific movement called "eugenics" - targeting creation of a superior human race.
